Osmosi develops two main collections per year, Autumn-Winter and Spring-Summer, accompanied by periodic drops of individual garments, outfits, and limited editions.
Each project begins with the search for deadstock fabrics from textile archives, end-of-lines, selected suppliers, and batches destined for disposal.
Wool, cottons, silks, and technical materials are chosen not only for aesthetic characteristics but also for composition, hand, structure, weight, drape, and actual availability.
The design often arises directly from the material:
available yardage, texture, and fabric behavior concretely influence the pattern making, construction, and development of the garment.
This makes many productions limited and difficult to replicate identically, preserving the uniqueness of the material.
